Are You an Empath, Overly Sensitive, and Like to Help People?

One of the most common questions that I get asked IS, "How can I ground my energy, Christie?"

Grounding is about focusing your attention on connecting to your body. Everyone will gravitate more toward one way of grounding.

How do you get back to YOU, yourself, and ground yourself?

Close your eyes and breathe in and out. This brings your attention back to the body and a feeling of inward connection.

Being outdoors in nature and noticing the beauty around you and that you are a part of it.

Tidying up your house, or a room, opening the blinds, letting in the sunshine, putting on some music, singing, and dancing, are other examples.

Your intention behind these actions is an act of love and caring for your environment, inside and out.

If you have a lot of stress at work and tend to think about it on the way out the door, get in the habit of setting up a routine that gives you a feeling of a clean break from it.

You can even say, "I let that go, or it's not mine to carry or hold onto."

I know a lot of people like to use the bubble of light around their bodies. Feel free to change it up and imagine a forest around you, a rainbow, or even the idea of your favorite song.

Again, it's about the intention behind the idea that springs forward a sense of claiming a CLEAR boundary.

What do you like to do to ground your energy?

You never know who will read it and the impact YOU have.

Have a peaceful day.

Much love,

Christie xo
